1. Overview
　The project will examine and forecast the traffic impact, etc. by organizing and analyzing the traffic situation on the Metropolitan Expressway and Public Roads during the RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE event.

4. Application Requirements
(1) Track record of business required for the organization
The applicant must have a track record of work related to traffic impact forecasting or traffic countermeasure studies for construction restrictions on roads (“roads listed in Article 3 of the Road Act”) under the orders of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Expressway Co., Ltd. (Metropolitan, East Japan, Central Japan, West Japan, Hanshin, Honshu-Shikoku Bridge), Expressway Public Corporation (Nagoya, Hiroshima, Fukuoka Kitakyushu), Local Road Public Corporation, or local public bodies (hereinafter referred to as “under orders from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, etc.”).

(2) Requirements for representative, chief engineers and verification engineers
(a) Engineer qualifications (representative, chief engineers and verification engineers)
Professional Engineer [Engineering Management (Road Engineering)], Professional Engineer [Civil Engineering (Road Engineering)], TOE (Traffic Operations Engineer) certified by Japan Society of Traffic Engineers or RCCM (Road) or an engineer with equivalent ability and experience, and for engineers with foreign qualifications (Engineers must belong to contractors in Japan, countries that are parties to the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement, or other countries that are recognized as having an open construction market.), it is necessary to be certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Construction Market Division, Land Economy and Construction Industry Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) as equivalent to Professional Engineer or RCCM in advance.
(b) Business Records
The firm must have at least one project completed in or after FY2014 for forecasting the traffic impact or studying traffic countermeasures associated with construction regulations on motorways (This refers to roads designated in accordance with Article 48-2, Paragraph 1 or Paragraph 2 of the Highway Act.), roads or expressways (This refers to roads designated in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Highway Act.) in service under orders from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, etc.

5. How to apply
　Applicants who wish to apply must submit Form 1 “Application” and documents showing that they meet the application requirements (a copy of the contract indicating the name of the ordering organization, the name of the company receiving the order, the year of order, etc., or a copy in lieu thereof, a copy of proof of qualifications, etc., a resume showing employment history, etc.) to the following address for application submission via e-mail within the application period.
