1. Announcement of 2nd “THE ROAD RACE TOKYO”

Since the Tokyo 2020 cycling road race was held in the Tama region, we have been holding “THE ROAD RACE TOKYO” cycling road race to carry the legacy into the future. We are pleased to announce that the schedule and start/finish venues for the 2nd race have been decided.

Overview of 2nd “THE ROAD RACE TOKYO”
(1) Schedule

(2) Start and finish venues
　　　Start venue: Musashino Forest Park
　　　Finish venue: Planned to be held in Ome City
　　　*The course and program (elite men’s and women’s cycling road race, general participation race, para-cycling, events around the finish venue, etc.) will be announced separately as soon as they are determined.

(3) Previous THE ROAD RACE TOKYO 2023

Overview of RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE in Bay area
(1) Date
　　　December 1, 2024 (Sunday)

(2) Course, etc.
　　　This course offers a special experience of riding along the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Gate Bridge, which are landmarks of Tokyo. The long course has been extended by approximately 3 km from last year to approximately 35 km. There will also be Middle course (approx. 19 km) and Short course (approx. 8 km) for families to enjoy (*Only Long course allow participants to be able to ride on Tokyo Gate Bridge). The maximum number of participants is 6,000 which is 1,000 larger than last year, and the application is scheduled to opne around July.

*RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE and  MULTISPORTS will be held with the cooperation of everyone involved, including Metropolitan Expressway Company, the Bicycle Utilization Promotion Headquarters, local governments, and related organizations.
